Mission statement
We, the White Rock Fire Fighters, will serve our community to the best of our ability. We vow to put our lives on the line to protect the lives and the property of our citizens of our community. Serving the community is more than just handling emergencies; it’s about assisting our citizens in the time of need every day whether it be health problems, disabilities, homeless, poverty and abuse. When we are off duty we dedicate our own time to raise thousands of dollars for our White Rock Fire Fighters’ Charity Association. We raise these funds for causes such as helping to improve the medical equipment for Peace Arch Hospital and for contributing to the elementary schools lunch programs, VGH Burn Fund, bursaries, food bank, Special Olympics, Victim’s Assistance Fund and so many others.
